Job Title: Sustainability Officer

Technip Energies is a world-leading engineering and technology player. We bring our clients' game-changing projects to life and are committed to enhancing their performance. Our expertise includes a full range of design and project development services, from early engagement to delivery.

We are seeking a Sustainability Officer to join the Project team on this first-of-a-kind project. The successful candidate will be site-based once the site office is established (within 12-18 months) but until then, will work on a hybrid basis, attending the Milton Keynes and London offices as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sustainability strategies for the project in alignment with client and company organizational goals.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to promote and integrate sustainable practices into project execution and operations, including frameworks, processes, and procedures.
  3. Identify, monitor, and report on key sustainability performance indicators.
  4. Foster awareness and engagement among project team members regarding sustainability initiatives, as well as from external stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
  5. Identify opportunities for resource efficiency and waste reduction.
  6. Promote and ensure adequate learning and plans are in place in compliance with relevant standards, focusing on human rights, people development, diversity & inclusion, and personnel qualifications/learning.

Requirements:

  1. Professional background in working on complex projects.
  2. Creative and curious mindset with a passion for teamwork.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of service, quality, and confidentiality.
  4. Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field.
  5. Proven experience in implementing sustainability initiatives in project environments.
  6. Analytical and problem-solving skills related to sustainability challenges.
