Job Summary:

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Central London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting with the tender process, evaluating contractor bids, and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible for cost reports and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance during projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the tender process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and manage cost reports, identifying opportunities to improve financial performance
  • Support the management of stakeholders throughout all stages of the process, building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Commercial or Residential sector
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK
