Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Commercial and Residential Projects
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the tender process, evaluating contractor bids, and negotiating contracts. You will also be responsible for cost reports and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance during projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the tender process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating contractor bids
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare and manage cost reports, including identifying opportunities to improve financial performance
- Support the management of stakeholders throughout all stages of the process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Commercial or Residential sector
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to sites across the UK
