Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's property services division in London.

About the Role:

  • As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing construction costs and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop strategies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Our client is an established maintenance contractor with a turnover of over £150 million per annum, delivering day-to-day responsive repairs and planned maintenance services to social housing and property services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction costs and develop cost plans for projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop strategies to optimize project outcomes and improve efficiency
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a related field
  • Strong understanding of construction costs and project management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
