Personal Injury Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of Personal Injury claims, assisting senior team members with complex cases, and engaging with clients to build rapport and trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own caseload of Personal Injury claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Assist senior team members with the preparation and management of complex cases, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Engage with clients, building strong relationships and providing excellent communication and customer service.
  • Run claims through the OIC portal, understanding the litigation process and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Produce schedule of loss statements, take witness statements, and assess/redact bank statements, demonstrating attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve collective goals, providing support and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Personal Injury law and procedures.
  • At least 1 year's experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence, ideally managing your own caseload.
  • Knowledge of the OIC portal and litigation process, with the ability to navigate complex systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Eagerness to take responsibility, a friendly and approachable nature, and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
