About the Role

Premier Recruitment Group Limited is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the electronics manufacturing industry to recruit a Trainee Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client's quality assurance team and embark on a structured training program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop skills in identifying and troubleshooting defects in printed circuit boards (PCBs) using systematic approaches to fault finding.
  • Gain practical experience in soldering for surface mount components and understand the intricacies of handling and placing delicate components on PCBs.
  • Conduct electrical and electronic product testing to ensure that products meet technical specifications.
  • Perform administrative tasks essential to the QA department's operations, including preparing detailed observation reports.
  • Process customer returned products from receipt through to final resolution to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Acquire knowledge about our client's business operations, focusing on the standards and procedures the QA department adheres to, ensuring compliance and quality excellence.
  • Collaborate with the QA team, supporting departmental objectives and contributing to the wider business goals.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions with fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
