Salary & Package: £45,000 - £49,000 + bonus + additional benefits

About the Role:

Sea Global is partnering with a leading Transport business in the midlands to recruit two procurement professionals to join their busy procurement function. One role will focus on corporate service indirect areas, such as Catering, Facilities Management, Cleaning, Security, Staff Uniforms, Marketing, and Professional Services. The other will focus on IT and technology spend, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Senior Category Manager to develop and implement strategic category strategies across designated categories.
• End-to-end procurement management, including sourcing and supplier management.
• Create contractual agreements with suppliers to ensure they are fit for purpose and deliver commerciality to the business.
• Advise internal stakeholders on best practice for obtaining best value for money.

Requirements:

• Experience within indirect and IT categories is highly valuable for this role.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, with exposure to Utilities Contract Regulations (UCR) or Public Contract Regulations (PCR), is desirable.
• End-to-end procurement experience is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent supplier management skills.
