Position: Infrastructure Adoption Engineer

Company: Bellway

The Infrastructure Adoption Engineer is vital in facilitating the effective adoption of roads, drainage systems, pumping stations, and public green spaces within our projects. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this role encompasses a variety of duties, including:

  • Supervising and coordinating construction activities related to roads, drainage, and pedestrian pathways
  • Ensuring adherence to adoption criteria for different infrastructure components
  • Collaborating with municipal authorities, water service providers, and environmental organizations
  • Developing adoption schematics utilizing AutoCAD software
  • Offering technical support to internal teams and colleagues

The ideal applicant will possess a background in construction or residential development, along with the necessary qualifications and expertise:

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Adoption Engineer
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CAD applications and civil engineering tools
  • Understanding of regulatory standards and design guidelines
  • HNC/HND in a construction-related discipline
  • CSCS certification or equivalent
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities
