About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to guide our Data and Information Office (DDIO) team within NOTSSCaN. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to impactful national audits, ultimately enhancing patient care knowledge, understanding, and delivery.
As the successful candidate, you will lead a talented team of Information Coordinators and Analysts, ensuring they achieve their objectives as part of the wider NOTSSCaN Division, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and regional Thames Valley Networks. You'll have the chance to collaborate with experts across various audits, expanding your expertise through on-the-job learning and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management support to the DDIO team, encompassing objective setting, performance reviews, training, and workload management.
- Oversee the accurate, reliable, and comprehensive data collection and reporting processes across NOTSSCaN Division and the Major Trauma Centre, on behalf of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
- Proactively adapt to evolving information landscapes and ensure the continuous provision of timely and accurate data from diverse sources, including existing database systems and patient records.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues across various teams to effectively support service delivery and contribute to improved patient care knowledge and understanding.
- Leverage IT tools and analytical techniques to produce insightful data, reports, and intelligence. Disseminate findings effectively through various channels to meet organizational needs and fulfill national and legal requirements.
