Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Governance, Strategy and Implementation:
    1. Establish a standardized approach to data collection, including event naming conventions and data layer setup.
    2. Guide technical teams in setting up and QA-ing analytics systems for accurate data collection.
  2. Reporting and Insights:
    1. Design and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for marketing managers and site experience leaders.
    2. Standardize reporting practices to ensure consistency across various business units and divisions.
  3. Governance:
    1. Develop and maintain governance policies for analytics tools and reporting to ensure data integrity and consistency.
    2. Audit and update analytics configurations to adhere to governance standards and best practices.
  4. Collaboration and Leadership:
    1. Foster collaboration with stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure analytics solutions meet those needs.
    2. Lead and mentor a team of insight and analytics strategists and technical resources.
  5. Technical Expertise:
    1. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
    2. Provide guidance on the technical setup of analytics on websites, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
  6. Business Focus:
    1. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions.
    2. Present regular reports and findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
