Job Title:

Embedded Software Engineer - Electrical Power Distribution System

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and verification, with a focus on electrical power distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software for electrical power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with DO-178C/SEAL standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
  • Conduct software verification activities, including testing and validation.
  • Develop and review technical specifications and interfaces for electrical power distribution systems.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software integration.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace software verification.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming for embedded devices.
  • Experience with DO-178 B/C and SEAL standards.
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols like CAN, RS485, SPI, I2C.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and agile methodologies.
