Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Trainer specializing in Well Testing to enhance the capabilities of our workforce within the Competence & Assurance team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable technical instructor, effectively communicating complex concepts and fostering skill development.
  • Assess training effectiveness and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of training materials; evaluate course objectives based on participant performance.
  • Create and present technical training content, including instructional materials and teaching aids.
  • Collaborate with Operations Management to identify employee training needs and continuously improve the training program in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Design and implement practical skills demonstration exercises utilizing specialized product line expertise.
  • Continuously evaluate training programs and participate in the refinement of training materials; assess course objectives against participant outcomes.
  • Partner with operations management to ensure ongoing competency assessments for personnel, including necessary induction training.
  • Contribute to the review and updating of global competency standards as required.
  • Work alongside relevant teams (such as Engineering, Operations, and Business Development) to provide training support for new products and enhancements.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of training programs and instructor activities, ensuring materials are prepared and available.
  • Facilitate collaborative groups and meetings focused on training and competency development.
  • Collaborate with external training experts to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Deliver technical training to clients as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant field experience in Data Acquisition for Well Testing, with prior roles as a DAQ Engineer or Well Test Supervisor.
  • Strong background in Expro Well Test Product line Operations, with exposure to various Well Test applications globally.
  • Experience in Training and Competency management is advantageous.
