About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic VP, Business Development to join our team at DAZN. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion through the development and execution of new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with DAZN's core goals and objectives.
  • Identify and launch new market opportunities, leveraging your expertise in sales, marketing, and business strategy.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in new markets and verticals.
  • Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams regarding market demands, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven senior-level experience in business development, sales, or a related position.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
