We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Specialist SEND Support Assistant. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs in a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the behavior of students with additional needs, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- De-escalate behavioral concerns during lessons, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
- Support students with their learning and additional requirements, adapting to their individual needs.
- Provide non-judgmental support to students, fostering a growth mindset and promoting confidence in their abilities.
- Awareness of safeguarding practices and the importance of effective pastoral care.
Requirements:
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to the role, with a passion for educating young people.
- Consistent and objective approach to students, both in and outside of the classroom.
- Knowledge and awareness of SEN needs and implemented academic adjustments.
- Proven track record in similar roles or institutions, with the right to work in the UK.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
