Job Type: Contract (Full-Time Monday to Friday)

Day rate: £250 - £280 Per day

Job Description: Thorn Baker are looking for a Site Manager for a retrofit project in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the retrofit project on site, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the retrofit project on site
  2. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  3. Monitor progress and quality of work
  4. Manage subcontractors and suppliers
  5. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  1. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  2. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  3. First Aid certification
  4. Asbestos Awareness training
  5. Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills and Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in site management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in retrofit projects
  2. Additional health and safety certifications
  3. Project management qualification

Working Conditions: The role involves working on a construction site. Full-time hours are expected, with the possibility of overtime.
