About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Endoscopist to join our dynamic Gastroenterology department at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality endoscopy services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide expert endoscopy services, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, to patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- To work closely with our team of gastroenterologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- To participate in the development and implementation of new endoscopy services and procedures, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of best practice.
- To contribute to the education and training of junior staff, including medical students and junior doctors, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality patient care.
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our endoscopy services are safe, effective, and efficient.
