Underwriting Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team at Geo Underwriting. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting team by managing business mailboxes, performing data entry and record keeping, organizing and maintaining our diary system, issuing policy documents, and communicating with underwriters and brokers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage new and existing business mailboxes to ensure timely and accurate processing of documents.
- Perform data entry and record keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Organize and maintain our diary system to ensure efficient scheduling and coordination.
- Issue policy documents to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with underwriters and brokers to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Action ad-hoc requests from underwriters and brokers as needed.
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
