Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Reliability Engineer position should possess the following:

  • Completion of a mechanical-focused apprenticeship
  • Educational background at ONC/HNC level
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering and manufacturing
  • Experience in heavy industrial settings
  • Proficiency in fabrication and fitting techniques

Key Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing production issues and implementing systematic solutions.
  • Responding to equipment failures during operational hours.
  • Conducting reactive maintenance to address asset malfunctions.
  • Executing retrofits and fabrication tasks, as well as performing asset disassembly and repairs.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time position
  • Continental shift patterns (12-hour shifts)
  • Work within a team comprising 4 rotating supervisors, 8 continental technicians/fitters, and 3 day shift technicians and fitters.
