Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Reliability Engineer position should possess the following:
- Completion of a mechanical-focused apprenticeship
- Educational background at ONC/HNC level
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Demonstrated experience in engineering and manufacturing
- Experience in heavy industrial settings
- Proficiency in fabrication and fitting techniques
Key Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing production issues and implementing systematic solutions.
- Responding to equipment failures during operational hours.
- Conducting reactive maintenance to address asset malfunctions.
- Executing retrofits and fabrication tasks, as well as performing asset disassembly and repairs.
Additional Information:
- Full-time position
- Continental shift patterns (12-hour shifts)
- Work within a team comprising 4 rotating supervisors, 8 continental technicians/fitters, and 3 day shift technicians and fitters.
