Job Title: French Internal Controls Manager

A leading international company is seeking a highly skilled French speaking Internal Controls Manager to join their European finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, test, and deliver audits, reviews, and investigations to ensure compliance with financial regulations and controls.
  • Support the development of risk-based compliance and internal audit plans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Communicate audit progress and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Document audit tests and findings, and assess root causes to provide value-adding recommendations.
  • Prepare draft Internal Audit Reports to present to the Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Support the planning and execution of J-SOX audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assess compliance with financial regulations and controls by preparing and executing audit programme steps.
  • Monitor management's progress on agreed management action plans to ensure effective implementation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's audit tools, methodology, and knowledge.
  • Build effective working relationships across the business to ensure seamless collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Strong audit experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audits.
  • Fluent French and English language skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning, managing, and delivering excellent external or internal audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate issues objectively, document and verbally present conclusions logically.
  • Ability to work with external consultants and external auditors effectively.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and different global time-zones.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with regularly varying and developing priorities.
