A leading international company is seeking a highly skilled French speaking Internal Controls Manager to join their European finance team.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, test, and deliver on audits, reviews, and investigations to ensure compliance with financial regulations and controls.
- Support the development of risk-based compliance and internal audit plans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Communicate audit progress and findings concisely and accurately to stakeholders.
- Complete audit work papers by documenting audit tests and findings to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Assess root causes and provide value-adding practical recommendations to improve internal controls and risk management.
- Prepare draft Internal Audit Reports to present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Support the planning and execution of J-SOX audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor management's progress on agreed management action plans to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations.
- Prepare draft Audit & Risk Committee reports for the line manager to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's audit tools, methodology, and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Strong audit experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audits.
- Fluent French and English language skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with planning, managing, and delivering excellent external or internal audits.
- An excellent communicator with strong written, verbal, and listening skills to present findings and recommendations effectively.
- Ability to evaluate issues objectively, document, and verbally present conclusions logically.
- Ability to work with external consultants and external auditors effectively to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Ability to work to deadlines and different global time-zones to ensure timely delivery of audit reports.
- Ability to multi-task and work with regularly varying and developing priorities to ensure effective management of audit projects.
