Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vetisco. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including pre-op, in-patient, and post-op care, in accordance with professional guidelines and practice policies.
  • Administer treatments, dispense medication, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nursing Manager and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in the training and development of junior nursing staff and animal care/kennel assistants.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the Clinical Nursing Manager and Practice Manager as required, and participate in marketing initiatives and open events.
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification and experience in a veterinary practice setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
