Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, starting at 18:00.
We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor for our dynamic Manchester facility. This position is available for immediate commencement for the right candidate.
Ideal candidates will possess a robust background in transportation management, ideally as a Senior Transport Manager or Transport Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish purpose and direction in alignment with OGSM objectives.
- Empower the team to identify and implement Operational Excellence (OE) initiatives in line with OGSM.
- Drive high performance through Performance Management System (PMS) principles, KPI oversight, and effective handovers.
- Encourage team members to pursue improvement opportunities and convert them into personal OE projects.
- Manage personnel, including conducting performance reviews, coaching, and addressing employee relations matters.
- Ensure activities align with overarching business goals and understand the impact of current performance on profitability.
