Theatre Technician Opportunity at Capital City College Group

We are seeking an exceptional Theatre Technician to join our Performing and Visual Arts Team at Capital City College Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the work of students and teachers in the Performing and Visual Arts Department.

About the Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the organisation, setup, and operation of theatre events and activities throughout the year. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, including experience with theatre and music performance equipment, software, and resources.

About You:

  • You will have experience working with 16-19-year-olds and a strong understanding of the working mechanisms of theatre and music performance.
  • You will be proficient in using relevant software, including QLAB, Final Draft, Ion Desk, EOS Family software, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, video editing software, sound editing software, and Logic Pro.
  • You will have expertise in filming and recording sound on Sony 4K camera and be able to convert files for exam boards.
