About the Role

Hymans Robertson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Relationship Executive to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Relationship team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, professional connections, and stakeholders across the pensions industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with key internal and external stakeholders to build and nurture excellent working relationships.
  • Host and attend key industry events, conferences, and awards nights to build the Hymans Robertson brand and gain industry market exposure.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders at all levels, across all departments and business units to gain insights and exposure to people from across all our services and work streams.
  • Lead on the internal professional trustee group, focusing on improving processes, leading meetings, and facilitating introductions.
  • Manage and lead on the work with our Systems team to ensure that required new features and system improvements are prioritised and actioned.
  • Support the Head of Strategic Relationships, clients, and professional independent trustees on the smooth running of the HRPTP (Hymans Robertson Professional Trustee Programme).
  • Lead on the organisation and logistics for firm-wide graduate NextGen training and co-host these F2F sessions across office locations.
  • Be involved in multiple projects across the business throughout the year and input into the scoping, prioritisation, and management of these projects.

Requirements

  • Relevant UK pensions industry knowledge or experience is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of the Professional Independent Trustee landscape would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to large groups and lead meetings with people at all levels, including senior stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Excellent listening skills and a good memory for detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple work streams.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (specifically: Microsoft Dynamics) would be highly beneficial.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience of dealing with clients, consultants, professional connections, and other stakeholders in a sensitive, diplomatic, and professional manner.
