Job Title: Head of Data and AI

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head our Data and AI team. As the Head of Data and AI, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and operation of our customers' Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Data and AI team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Data and AI, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Data and AI solutions with other business areas.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Data and AI technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Ensure the team adheres to best practices, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project delivery and growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading Data and AI teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Expert knowledge of GCP Data and AI products, services, and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large engineering teams, promoting collaboration, inclusion, and empowerment of Engineers.
  • Official Engineering certification to a Professional level for a Cloud provider, preferably Google Cloud.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in architecting cloud-native applications and designing pragmatic solutions on GCP.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and code delivery practices and tooling for effective CICD integration for Enterprise customers.
