Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team of adult neurosurgical specialist nurses on a full-time basis. This role involves working closely with Consultant Neurosurgeons and Allied Health Care Professionals in both primary and secondary care settings.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse with a neurosurgical background, who has a keen interest in supporting patients' journeys primarily with Neurovascular conditions such as Subarachnoid haemorrhage, Aneurysms and Arteriovenous malformations, low-grade tumours along with some complex spinal patients requiring either monitoring or surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, develop, and implement specialist nursing care programmes
  • Undertake specialist nursing procedures
  • Provide specialist advice and support to other staff
  • Participate in research projects and present at MDT meetings
  • Develop and implement a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care
