Job Title: Advanced Healthcare Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Healthcare Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Medicine for Older Adults at University Hospital Monklands.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work autonomously in the Acute Service, covering seven days including public holidays. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and families to ensure person-centred care with excellent communication skills underpinning this role. A clinical supervisor will be allocated to support the achievement of academic and clinical competence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registered Nurse / AHP / Pharmacist with valid NMC/HCPC / GPHC Registration.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced clinical practice and expertise within a speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
  • Advanced Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within the speciality.
  • Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in the area of speciality including study days/courses/post-graduate qualification.
