The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer who will complete pre-planned and reactive maintenance services for the Ministry of Defence at its strategic tri-service UK headquarters.
As a Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and extra work requirements in accordance with set engineering standards.
You will also be responsible for fault finding and plant adjustments, checking and inspecting mechanical and electrical services, and executing maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and extra work requirements in accordance with set engineering standards.
- Cary out Fault Finding and plant adjustments.
- Check and inspect mechanical/electrical services, plant and systems.
- Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specification.
- Respond to re-active works.
- Carry out general duties that require multi-skilled discipline to carry out work such as testing, inspection, and repair of motors, generators, chillers, AHUs, along with cleaning of foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repair of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing, and heating systems.
Requirements
- Excellent working and theoretical knowledge of critical building systems within a Hard FM environment.
- Health & Safety IOSH qualification or similar.
- Client customer-facing experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain MOD Security Clearance.
