About the Role

Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its in-house team at the Ministry of Defence in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing pre-planned and reactive maintenance services for the Ministry's strategic tri-service UK headquarters, a complex and highly secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance and extra work requirements in accordance with set engineering standards and HASAWA requirements.
  • Conduct fault finding and plant adjustments.
  • Inspect and check mechanical and electrical services, plant, and systems.
  • Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Respond to reactive works.
  • Perform general duties requiring multi-skilled discipline, including testing, inspection, and repair of motors, generators, chillers, AHUs, and other M&E systems.

Requirements

  • Excellent working and theoretical knowledge of critical building systems within a Hard FM environment.
  • Health and Safety IOSH qualification or similar.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MOD Security Clearance.
