Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions, working with a leading National Facilities Service Provider covering various areas.

About the Role
  • Deliver, service, repair, and maintain commercial properties, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform reactive maintenance on clients' portfolios of properties, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Self-deliver smaller installations, utilizing expertise to resolve complex issues.
  • Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings, repairing and maintaining various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Diagnose and identify faults and failures within equipment, utilizing technical knowledge to recommend solutions.
  • Order and fit parts or components to equipment when required, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide high-level customer service, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Hold commercial gas tickets (COCN1 or CODNCO1), demonstrating expertise in gas safety and maintenance.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance, showcasing ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Electrical or Air Conditioning qualifications desirable (17th/18th Edition, Fgas), enhancing technical capabilities.
  • Client-facing, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full driving license, enabling efficient travel between sites.
