£45000-£58000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance

The Design Coordinator Role:

A well-established, private family-owned housing developer is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This developer takes pride in building high-quality homes and is currently undergoing significant growth. The successful candidate will be working on an apartment scheme in a major city and will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process from stage 4 to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external consultants, civil and structural engineers, planning and building control officers, and NHBC inspectors.
  • Assess existing design information for compliance with the project specification.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND/C in Architecture, Engineering, or Design-related field.
  • Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working for a main contractor (on residential projects) or a housing developer.
