CBW Staffing Solutions is currently in search of an M&E Operations Supervisor to oversee a distinguished contract.
Your role will involve delivering exceptional building services, both planned and reactive, within a commercial environment, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
You will be tasked with executing maintenance operations for Electrical and HVAC systems, alongside related equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications and a solid history in commercial property maintenance.
As part of a dedicated shift team, you will engage with clients and collaborate with other service partners and support functions, necessitating strong communication and computer skills.
Working hours will follow a continental shift pattern, alternating between day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive relationships with the client Facilities Management Team to ensure a proactive and collaborative partnership.
- Monitor system performance and building operations through the Building Management System, addressing any discrepancies.
- Provide necessary information for regular and exceptional reporting.
- Suggest modifications to operational procedures to enhance energy efficiency.
- Utilize established communication channels for escalation when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee incident management and ensure completion of relevant documentation.
- Keep the shift log updated with pertinent information to support the shift team's performance.
- Submit shift handover reports promptly at the end of each shift.
- Document all asset and operational issues to meet contractual obligations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the building's layout and operational complexities through ongoing training and assessments.
- Stay informed about the operational status of site assets using the Building Management System.
- Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2, 2357 and AM2 or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiarity with the IEE Regulations.
- Experience with electrical plant-related building services maintenance.
- Willingness to complete critical environment training and participate in scenario drills.
- Experience with LV switchgear and HV systems is desirable but not essential.
- HV & LV Authorised Person certification is a plus but not mandatory.
