Job Title: Contaminated Land Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our land contamination management services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects to our private and public sector clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in contaminated land assessment and remediation, with experience in site investigation and field work. You will be responsible for conducting site investigations, supervising and managing site work, and preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site investigations, including soil logging, environmental sampling, and ground gas monitoring
  • Supervise and manage site work, including subcontractor management
  • Prepare technical reports, including desk studies, site investigation reports, and remediation options appraisals
  • Ensure all work is delivered in line with procedures and to the highest safety, health, and environmental standards
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in a field such as chemistry, biology, geology, engineering, or environmental science
  • Experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, including site investigation and field work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
