Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Chef de Partie with prior experience in a similar culinary environment. The ideal candidate will adopt a hands-on approach and possess a solid background in commercial kitchen operations.
Your primary duties will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes.
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Contributing to menu planning and implementation.
- Managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Exploring various kitchen sections to enhance culinary skills, including hot/cold sections, larder, sauces, and butchery.
This role is crucial within our kitchen brigade, and we are looking for someone who values local produce and consistently delivers exceptional results.
Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, and be a collaborative team player. You will work closely with the Front of House team to ensure that every guest has a memorable experience.
Flexibility is essential, as the role requires covering various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
