We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations issues and providing expert guidance to managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Employee Relations Management: Lead the management of complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence, and redundancy processes.
- Advisory Support: Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, offering practical solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to managers on ER-related topics, such as conflict resolution, performance management, and employment law updates.
- Mediation and Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in employee disputes, helping to resolve conflicts amicably and maintaining a harmonious working environment.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze ER data and trends, preparing reports for senior management to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including managers, employees, and external partners.
- Compliance: Ensure that all HR activities are carried out in compliance with UK employment law, ACAS guidelines, and company policies.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar Employee Relations role, with a strong background in managing complex ER cases within a large, multi-site organization.
- Education: CIPD qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices in employee relations.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Personal Attributes: Proactive and Resilient, Empathetic and Approachable, Detail-Oriented.
