Compensation:
£24,000 - £28,000 based on experience, with potential additional earnings through performance-based commissions ranging from £2,000 to £12,000, alongside a team performance bonus of £500 to £1,500.
Working Hours:
Full-time - 37 hours per week. This role offers a consultative sales opportunity within a dynamic and innovative organization.
As a Sports Travel Account Executive, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team focused on facilitating educational travel experiences for young individuals, both domestically and internationally.
Your primary responsibility will be to engage with educators, understanding their travel goals and providing tailored recommendations on suitable destinations.
Key discussions will revolve around their educational objectives, budget constraints, preferred travel duration, and availability, enabling you to create customized quotes and itineraries.
While most interactions with clients and suppliers occur digitally or via phone, in-person meetings may also be necessary, including potential travel opportunities.
You will have the chance to accompany groups on their journeys, allowing you to share firsthand experiences with prospective clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to inquiries from clients through various communication channels.
- Coordinating with airlines, accommodation providers, and other service suppliers.
- Conducting sales presentations and visits to group leaders.
- Participating in an on-call support rota, providing 24-hour assistance to groups during their travels (approximately 4-6 times annually).
