Operations Finance Manager

Job Purpose and Overview
The Operations Finance Manager is a key member of the management team responsible for ensuring the link between accounting/controlling and the strategic development of the site in relation to the overall group strategy. As a business partner for plant managers, supply chain managers, and operations colleagues, this role supports local teams with finance expertise during forecast and budget processes, monthly closing, and CAPEX requests. The Operations Finance Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day processes of operations controlling, ensuring relevant controls are in place and adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations and Supply Chain functions in achieving objectives and plans established.
- Develop and manage budgets according to the structure laid down by the Business Group.
- Collaborate with Procurement to identify and address raw material issues.
- Provide plant management with analysis of cost evolution, corrective actions, and preventive action plans to maintain financial control.
- Support Operations and Supply Chain colleagues in CAPEX requests and investments follow-up in accordance with group standards.
- Monitor and control conversion costs, variances (PPV, Yield, Scrap, Inventory revaluation, Inventory difference, Other variance), Supply Chain costs, and G&A costs impacting Operations P&L, and propose cost optimization actions.
- Prepare monthly reporting according to the Business Group's format.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the international FMCG industry, with 5+ years' experience in a multi-national environment.
- Strong background with financial ERP systems, especially SAP.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
