Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to cover maternity leave at our practice in Torquay. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice and the ability to prepare accounts from a variety of client records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of VAT returns, Year End Accounts, general bookkeeping, and Tax Returns
  • Assisting with the management of client records and financial data
  • Providing accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice
  • Ability to prepare accounts from a variety of client records
  • Well-organized and able to work accurately with good attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Xero Accounts software and automated data input systems (training can be provided)
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
