Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at SWG in Hull. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts, and providing CFO and business advisory support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse range of clients, providing expert financial guidance and support.
  2. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
  4. Collaborate with the CEO to drive commercial activities and provide financial support to the sales team.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest financial software and technologies, including Xero, Dext, and Sage.

Requirements:

  1. Fully qualified ACCA/ACA with a strong technical background.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in practice.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Commercially minded and able to think strategically.
