We are seeking a skilled UX Researcher and Designer to join our team at Spinwell Ltd, a leading digital services company. As a UX Researcher and Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating user-centered design solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
About the RoleThis is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. You will be based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow office, with the option to work remotely when required.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product Managers to establish research objectives and plan for each quarter.
- Conduct regular user research to identify user needs and ensure research is undertaken efficiently.
- Create high and low-fidelity prototypes based on existing design patterns.
- Deliver UX feedback to Agile delivery teams to complement sprint cycles.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined team to design user-focused and successful services.
- Build relationships and work effectively with external parties.
- Share best practice research methodologies and techniques.
- Produce artefacts to engage teams with the user experience.
- Manage stakeholders' expectations and be flexible.
- Experience working within an agile, multi-disciplined team environment.
- Ability to deliver iterative design components to the development team.
- Experience of user research and analysis, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Visualizing and implementing strategic user-centered design.
- Experience of delivering first-class government services following the Scottish Government Digital First Service Standard.
