Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Risk Manager to join our team at St. James's Place. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of financial crime risk across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial crime risk management framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic and technical leadership in all aspects of financial crime risk policies, frameworks, and oversight activities.
  • Contribute deep technical compliance knowledge to the long-term strategic development of a sustainable business-wide enhanced financial crime risk management framework.
  • Embed a strong risk culture in the business and provide constructive challenge and counsel on decision-making.
  • Lead and influence senior managers to achieve strong, sustainable outcomes for the management of financial crime risk.
  • Establish and communicate financial crime risk tolerance and appetite levels, and build strong and effective relationships with senior leaders across the business.
  • Supervise oversight activities to assess implementation and adherence to Enterprise policies and frameworks.

Requirements

  • SME understanding of the Group's obligations for Financial Crime Prevention.
  • SME understanding of compliance requirements for Financial Crime, as stipulated by all relevant regulators.
  • Previous experience of driving both ground-breaking and risk cultural change within a leading organization.
  • Able to draw upon deep senior experience in Financial Crime and AML strategy to develop innovative strategic solutions to Financial Crime risk.
  • Manage and raise risks ensuring full compliance with Group risk management procedures.
  • Develop and manage financial plans and budgets delegating authorities in line with business guidelines.
