Position: Maintenance Support Engineer
Location: RAF Leeming
Compensation: Starting at £37,548, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and validating task definitions for both on and off aircraft maintenance within the designated aircraft management system, ensuring adherence to approved documentation and company protocols.
- Collaborating with Fleet Planning, Demand Management, Part 145 organizations, Technical Services, Airworthiness Records, and external suppliers to uphold the required standards of airworthiness and contractual obligations.
- Assessing changes in customer requirements for their impact on Maintenance Tasking & Verification activities, implementing necessary adjustments such as Fatigue Life limits and Capability upgrades.
- Assisting the Data and Assurance Lead in overseeing the Storage Maintenance Plan.
- Providing support to the organization through the Engineering Logistics Portal (ELP).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Recent, extensive experience in a Maintenance & Support setting, with direct involvement in the maintenance or support of aircraft fleets, including technical management and scheduling.
- In-depth knowledge of complex motor-powered aircraft systems and associated support equipment, preferably with experience on Hawk AJT aircraft.
- Strong understanding of the interactions between Pt 145 and Pt M organizations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Fleet Planning, Maintenance Tasking & Verification, and Demand Management processes.
- Comprehensive familiarity with current IT software applications (Electronic System of Record) utilized in Maintenance Tasking & Verification.
Desirable:
- In-depth understanding of Safety and Quality Management principles.
- Knowledge of the Regulatory Framework and its relevance to Maintenance Tasking and Verification processes.

About the Continuing Airworthiness Records Team:
This role is part of the Qatar Hawk Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Service (CAMSS) and involves off-aircraft Task Definition Engineering, contributing to the broader team’s on-aircraft efforts. Responsibilities include the creation, authorization, and management of Off Aircraft Requirement Task Definitions within the Integrated Maintenance Solution (IMS) toolset, Maintenix.
