Database Administrator / Data Analyst

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organization, is seeking a skilled Database Administrator / Data Analyst to join their team for an initial 10-month contract with potential to extend.

This role may require on-site working initially, with potential for remote work and occasional office visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a robust database infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Design and implement data models to meet business requirements.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and develop solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through regular data validation and cleansing.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in database management systems, including design, development, and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in database administration and data analysis.
