We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a primary school in London. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students across key stage 1 & 2.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with various tasks, including lesson planning and preparation.
  • Provide one-on-one support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and promoting social skills.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary-aged students.
  • Good understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
