About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthesia Consultant to join our team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver anaesthetic care to patients in a busy surgical environment
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Person Specification

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • Experience of working in a busy surgical department
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCST in Anaesthesia
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
