We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Chislehurst Neurological Rehabilitation Centre. As a specialist in this field, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders, devising evidence-led therapy programmes, and participating in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Devise evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level
  • Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
  • Participate in internal training and development opportunities

Person Specification

  • HCPC registration
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
  • Experience in this specialist clinical area, including evidence of post-graduate training in working with people with acquired neurological impairments
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and creativity
