Job Summary:

Kingsacre Care Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

About the Role:

We are a state-of-the-art care home based in a convenient location, offering nursing and dementia care to up to 66 residents. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and serving
  • Supporting residents with their mobility and transferring needs
  • Encouraging residents to participate in activities and engage with their surroundings
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Care Assistant or a related role
  • SVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
