Position Overview:
Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is collaborating with a prominent organization in the Water sector that seeks to appoint a Health and Safety / SHE Advisor on a contractual basis to enhance their SHEQ team. This role will primarily involve working across the Southern Water region, focusing on areas such as Sussex and Kent, with occasional responsibilities in Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Health and Safety / SHE Advisor, you will manage daily health and safety tasks and assist in the formulation and execution of the regional safety strategy.

Your duties will include:
  • Supporting regional management teams to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Assisting management in the application of HSE guidelines and best practices.
  • Conducting thorough audits and inspections of construction sites, mobile workplaces, offices, and other locations to ensure compliance with legal standards and health and safety management systems.
  • Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and derive lessons learned.
  • Contributing to the creation and upkeep of safety-related documentation, including manuals, procedures, guidance notes, and forms.
