About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Performance Engineer to join our Trackside Performance team as a Race Engineer.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that is shaping the future of Formula One.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operation and optimization of one of our Formula One race cars at race and test events, overseeing a team of engineers focused on maximizing performance.
  • Develop and implement data-driven analysis and problem-solving strategies to drive performance improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of Performance Engineering within the team, with a focus on optimizing car setup, integrating control systems, and driving data analysis.
  • Lead the development of the wider engineering function, driving continual improvement of methods and practices.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of race car performance optimization.
  • Relevant mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering degree and experience as a Race/Performance Engineer in Formula One.
  • Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure, with excellent communication skills and confidence in decision-making abilities.
