Job Title: Senior Tyre Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tyre Performance Engineer to join our Andretti Cadillac team at the Silverstone facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the race team in tyre performance optimization at each event, both at the track and through management of factory support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Race Strategy & Tyre Performance to define the department's strategic direction and plan projects around available resources.
  • Support the race team in tyre performance optimization and tyre management during the event, either trackside or from the factory.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of mandatory tyre reporting.
  • Develop and implement tyre performance tools, methods, and infrastructure.
  • Continuously improve operational processes at the track and the factory.
  • Develop and maintain department administration and reporting procedures.
  • Provide support and mentoring to junior members of the team.
  • Coordinate tyre testing activities and tyre model correlation.

Requirements:

  • High-level motorsports experience in tyre performance across multiple sets of tyre regulations, with a strong understanding of physics and math relating to high-performance vehicles.
  • Ability to drive projects and provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the team.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in performing data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization, using Python, R, or equivalent.
  • Honesty, transparency, and integrity in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to contributing positively to an open and inclusive culture.
